Reason, Rewire and Cubase

Anyone knows how to set up the EWS 64 in
order to connect Reson with Cubase through
Rewire?

do you have a specific problem? normally, you should try to get some sound out of cubase, which means installing the ews asio driver (which didn't work well for me, but i have to say didn't try very hard). if this works, run reason, and it should automatically be in rewire mode. now you should be able (dependent on your cubase version) to enable the reason hardware interface outputs as inputs in cubase. with cubase sx, you can even control the reason instruments via cubase midi tracks. it works great with my ewx24/96, besides some crackling when setting loop points.

I do have sound in Cubase and it is the 5.0
version all right! but i take an error mess
in reason saying that no midi inputs have been found. Does that have to do with anything?

midi inputs is something different than rewire. if reason shows this error message, it should still work in rewire mode. to check this, click play in either cubase or reason. the other program should follow in sync.
cubase 5 unfortunately doesn't support the reason instruments as midi devices. but you can use software like "hubi's loopback driver" or "midi yoke" to route the midi output of cubase to the midi input of reason.
